Reishi (ganoderma lucidum) is a super mushroom found widely throughout Asia, commonly known as ‘the herb of spiritual potency’ or ‘the mushroom of immortality’.  In traditional Chinese medicine it is considered in the highest class of tonics, promoting vitality and longevity.

Packed with healthy compounds including polysaccharides, glycoproteins, ergosterols, triterpenoids, and other myco-nutrients, Mindful Extract’s Reishi capsules combines concentrated hot-water and ethanol extractions to deliver the full-spectrum of benefits from this amazing mushroom.

Since mushrooms absorb nutrients from their host, there is a significant difference in quality between log-grown mushrooms and those grown on artificial substrates such as sawdust blocks.  Mindful Extracts only use Reishi grown on Duanwood logs to ensure a superior organic, nutrient rich concentration of bio-available ingredients.

In addition, our organic Reishi extract is derived from the fruiting body of the mushroom, which is proven to be much richer in active ingredients and more abundant in beta-D-glucans and rich polysaccharides than mushrooms extracted from mycelium. Unlike tablets or pills, our capsules are tasteless, faster-acting and have higher bioavailability, so more Reishi is likely to enter your bloodstream.

Within the mushroom there are several beneficial compounds including triterpenoids, polysaccharides and peptidoglycans that are thought to be responsible for its wellbeing benefits.
