In May, I announced that we’d reached the finals of the World CBD Awards (to be held in October 2022) – and now we’ve been recognised again! This time by the global fashion magazine, Marie Claire!

We’ve been highly commended at this year’s Marie Claire Sustainability Awards!

These awards are in their second year and celebrate the ethical brands and products that are going the extra mile to minimise their impact on our planet.

And sustainability is very close to our hearts.

We’ve built Mindful Extracts to be as sustainable as possible. It’s why we only sell vegan products with no animal testing, work with farmers and suppliers who align with our values, and over 70% of our ingredients Organic Certified.

While most of the CBD industry white-label their topical products from large suppliers, our CBD-infused bodycare range is handmade in-house at our headquarters in Brighton. By developing our products ourselves, we have complete control over sourcing our materials to ensure our customers receive the best natural, sustainable and ethical products for your wellbeing.

And of course, our packaging is 100% recyclable – we use FSC-certified papers, no plastic or laminates, and only plant-based inks. Even the glue on our labels is non-toxic and biodegradable!

We also plant a tree in Indonesia for every bottle or jar we sell. In fact, in our first year of business, we planted over 3,000 trees in the rainforest with our partners, One Tree Planted, and this year we’re on target to plant thousands more!

With a culture of continuous improvement, proactive leadership and a genuine desire, we will continue to strive to be the as green as we possibly can!

The Marie Claire judging panel included 50 global experts, thought leaders, business founders and activists in sustainability. And we were up against some very innovative brands!

This fantastic Marie Claire award adds to our growing recognition list, including our shortlisting for Best Lip Balm at the Natural Health Awards, the finals of the World CBD Awards and Best CBD Brand for Anxiety at the Hip and Healthy CBD Awards.
